no, i received no email. the only indication i had was that the derived formats didn't show up, and the contrib center was showing this "awaiting repair" notice.

what should i have clicked on from there so i'd have known the real problem?

Hi,

From your item's page, you can click on "Edit item" in the lower left box and then "Item Manager" at the top of that page.

The Item Manager has a bunch of useful tools, among them a "show history" button that will let you see your failed (red row) derive task, and a "checkout" button that will let you check your item back out and access the files via ftp (to add, remove, or replace files).

Thanks for letting me know about not getting the email, you're the second person who's said they haven't gotten it, so I'm going to assume something may be wrong with the notification system. We'll take a look. Thanks,
